Thanks to the additional snow security, which is given until spring, ski professionals, beginners, families as well as pleasure skiers can enjoy their winter holiday at Burgeis to the full!

Ski area Watles

This family-friendly and sunny ski area is located directly above Burgeis. Modern lifts, perfectly groomed slopes, children’s attractions, traditional alpine huts are just waiting to be discovered by you. Our FREE ski bus, whose bus stop is only about 100m from our house, takes you from Burgeis directly to the slope!

Ski area Schöneben-Haideralm

This ski area, which was originally two different ski areas, is about 10 minutes by car from us and awaits you from December 2018 with 15 most modern lifts, 65 km of slopes and a wonderful view of the Reschensee. The new Höllental downhill run and the adventure downhill run are certainly a highlight!

Ski area Nauders

After a 20-minute drive you reach this ski area on the Austrian side of the Reschenpass. Thanks to modern snowmaking technology, you can enjoy guaranteed snow from December to April. And that on 75 km of slopes, in gondolas, chair lifts and drag lifts, which have always attracted guests from near and far!

Ski area Sulden and Trafoi

A high alpine ski area in Sulden at King Ortler, which is about 40 minutes away by car. At 1,990 to 3,250 m, it offers 40 km of slopes, deep-snow slopes for freeriders and telemarkers and a fun park with halfpipe for snowboarders and freestylers. A very special skiing area!

BUBO Children's Park at Watles

The Watles ski area would not be family-friendly if it did not have its own ski kindergarten for the little ones. Here your children will be looked after from early morning till late afternoon by certified and experienced instructors and will get to know skiing in a playful way. The two magic carpets, a ski carousel and a snow igloo are also considered highlights.

Ski rental

You don’t own skis or you don’t want to bring them from home? No problem! In the ski rental/ski service Ziernheld at the valley station of the ski resort Watles you can rent everything you need. Or you can have your equipment professionally prepared so that nothing stands in the way of your skiing holiday in Burgeis.

The Watles Ski School is one of the best ski schools in South Tyrol and even holds the Gold Certificate of the South Tyrol Children’s Ski Schools.
